Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Columbine Massacre. All over the world the media is showing clips, talking to survivors and reflecting on that tragic day.
Oprah mentioned on twitter that she pulled the show on Columbine that was supposed to air today because it focus too much on killers. Do you think that we should continue to reflect on catastrophic events like Columbine, Virginia Tech and 9/11?
Does this help us heal or continue to mourn? What are your thoughts?
I think that we should keep reflcting on these atrocities. No, not the shooters, but the victims. The memories that they had no choice but to leave. The thing we should use these reflections on different tragedies to see how we can prevent more like them from happening.
I still remember where i was when news of the disaster occured. It was devestating, and horrifing.May we always remember the victims and keep them in our prayers.God Bless to those that keep this site up and runnning and to the friends and loved ones who lost someone that day.
